About the Company:
for an innovative and fintech reality, our Recruitment Engineers are looking for a DBD/DWH Designer.
Core Responsibilities:
Administer effective database monitoring and optimization procedures to ensure maximum uptime and resource utilization for production and corporate databases.
Manage Fault Detection, Performance Tuning & optimization of database environments; Analysis of database performance factors, monitoring tools and tuning procedures; Specific technical areas include transaction databases, schedule jobs, archives and replication components and ensure daily backups and archive processes from the transaction databases systems
Administeroperational procedures (SOP) for all database related activities, such as database (MS SQL Server, mySQL/MariaDB) installations
Review, Test, Validate and Deployment of database changes, SQL or stored procedures, SQL (T/SQL and/or PL/SQL) and develop automation of existing manual processes and monitoring efforts
Manage hardware configurations and considerations for database SQL Server environment
Monitoring and tuning data loads and queries
Evaluate all codes and ensure the quality of all project deliverables
Must Have:
Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Fluent in English and Italian
Requested work experience as database administrator in banks with strong knowledge of privacy law, segregation of data in line with compliance rules
Over 5 years direct experience as a database developer / ETL developer in a corporate environment
Proven strong experience in modern DWH development and maintenance
Solid skills in database performance factors, monitoring tools and tuning procedures
Strong database management skills, including replication, backup and recovery procedures
Solid skills with one or more programming languages and design technique.
Stored procedure knowledge, T/SQL, PL/SQL knowledge.
Detailed understanding and experience with Data Transformation/ETL processes, JBDC and ODBC.
Experience with high availability and redundant configurations (Cluster configurations, RAC, replication, recovery)
Experience with the following database software packages - i.e.
SQL, mySQL/MariaDB, Oracle with experience of other relational databases a plus
Knowledge of the following is a plus:
Bonita, Spoon, DataStage, Informatica, Pentaho, Talend, Cluster Galera, Tableau, Oracle BI, J2EE, LAMP
