Regional Support is responsible for overviewing, implementing and implementing SCADA systems. The department collaborates with internal stakeholders and Vestas clients within Vestas MED. It provides high global technology in monitoring, control and data acquisition systems for the wind technology which covers and provides any SCADA related support to the Construction and Service Departments.
Responsibilities:
Level 1 support for SCADA and IT systems in wind farms Platform troubleshooting, server hardware and software Provide remote support to service technicians in on-site operations Provide and keep updated internal ticketing tools Technical Documentation Qualifications:
Technical education in IT, Electronics or similar Experience in server operating systems, Linux and SQL servers Experience in VMware Knowledge and experience of networking and their configuration PLC programming and communication protocols (IEC 104, IEC 101, MODBUS, DNP, OPC) is beneficial Comprehensive English skills, both verbal and written Valid driver's license Competencies:
Highly structured and well organized Proactive and result oriented Comfortable with working in a high-paced and highly collaborative environment Proven analytical and problem-solving skills Team working oriented Good communication skills High attention to detail and a solid commitment to Quality High level of English spoken and written Native Italian speaker What we offer:
