Art Direction Team The Art Direction team at We Are Social is part of the broader Creative and Editorial department and is responsible for ensuring and evolving our clients' visual identity across all types of content that we conceive, create, and manage for them on all social media channels. Role Purpose Reporting to Art Supervisor or Creative Director, the role is responsible for supporting the Design and Creative team in creating content across all media channels. This is a very "hands-on" role, as the individual will create visual concepts in response to clients' briefs and relay them to the Creative Supervisor/ Head of Art / Creative Director. The focus is mainly on editorial and digital projects, although work on specific campaigns or activations is also included. Responsibilities include design executions and creating visual responses to briefs with the supervision of senior designers or art directors. The role requires getting things done to a high standard and making it easy for others to do the same. Art directors need to be natural visual thinkers, ready to expand their skills and learn from senior colleagues in order to flourish. Key Responsibilities Definition of creative concepts, their execution, and detailed crafting Art direction for ongoing content, formats, and activations for the clients' editorial plan Execution and quality control of output during the creative production phase Study and development of visual identity and brand for reference clients Participation in defining and developing editorial strategy in terms of languages and visual formats Constant alignment with Creative and Client Service references Requirements Degree in art direction, graphic design, or equivalent fields 1-3 years experience in creative agencies is appreciated Excellent knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite Ability to work in extended and complex teams Competence and mastery across different media, formats, tools, and techniques of visual communication High affinity and passion for social media Intuition for current trends and developments A good knowledge of English is a nice to have Additional Information Career Path Design - quarterly check-in moments and annual evaluations that will allow us to discuss your professional growth within WAS.
