Job Description
The Lead Auditor is responsible for leading a team to conduct audits and assessments in compliance with DNV standards, international standards, or similar national standards. These audits should be in accordance with established DNV methodologies and rules.
What you'll do: Plan and execute audits, report findings and follow up within agreed timescales and economic frameworks.Meet professional practice standards and demonstrate competence in core areas.Develop and maintain positive relationships with client personnel.Carry out the work for DNV efficiently and competently as required by instructions/Quality System and/or as per formal agreement between the client and DNV.Contact customers to confirm the planned activities.Ensure that the independent nature of the DNV scheme is not compromised at any time.Maintain/acquire Auditor Registration with DNV or any other registration that qualifies for acceptance as Lead Auditor within DNV.Contribute to an effective positive work environment.Act as a team player who guides others through the professional development process, including timely completion of reviews and goal setting.Maintain effective communication with line management, audit team members, and client stakeholders.Ensure the correct use of production tools dedicated to auditing activities and the communication of updated data for proper management of certificates.Responsibilities Join a worldwide business assurance market leader with strong values and commitment (We Care, We Dare, We Share).Continuous training and professional improvement.Benefit package (company car, laptop, smartphone, restaurant allowance).Join DNV's sanitary insurance available for all employees.Smartworking when not required to deliver on-site audits.DNV is an Equal Opportunity Employer and gives consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to gender, religion, race, national or ethnic origin, cultural background, social group, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, age, or political opinion. Qualifications Qualified as a third-party auditor according to food safety standards.Fluent in Italian and proficient in English.Team player.Positive and result-driven mindset.Strong organizational skills.Availability to travel in Italy and occasionally abroad.People management skills.Very good knowledge of Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Please submit your CV in English.
