Qa Tester

Sesami is looking for a QA Tester to join our Engineering/Technology team in Bollengo (ITALY).

Posizione: This individual will learn how a Sesami cash recycler works in a comprehensive way and how to test it.

The QA tester will operate Software and Firmware installation, configuration and troubleshooting; QA tester will define and execute test plans including regression testing, recording defects with detailed reproduction steps, validation of defect resolutions, etc. The QA tester will perform cash transactions on Sesami devices, including cash feeds into acceptors, capacity testing of devices, errors generation and all the other operations that could occur in a real customer environment; QA tester will perform some accounting and note/coin count verification in the cassettes; QA tester will run also remote controlling through server and cloud base solutions and usage of most popular POSs. Results of the tests will be recorded in the test management platform being used. As part of the QA team, the QA tester will:

Follow the SDLC/STLC process as defined in the organization and use the appropriate test management and execution tools. Observe and record results of the test steps in great detail; document and report issues promptly. Work and communicate efficiently with other members of the QA team as well as other teams involved in the SDLC like Development, Release, etc. Requisiti: Education:

Technical education is mandatory (Electronics, Informatics or similar) at least at high school level.

Desired Experience:

Quality Assurance and Process:

Proficient in SDLC/STLC processes. Comfortable with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Good experience with QA documentation including designing test plans, creating test cases/scenarios, requirements traceability and test executions with defect creation. Tools & Technology:

Ability to read log files. Good experience with test management tools like JIRA, Azure, TestRail, etc. [Optional] Ability to understand automation scripts and run them in platforms like Selenium, PlayWright, etc. Familiarity with the MS Office suite. Experience with collaboration software like Slack, Teams, etc. Familiarity with various POS systems their configuration and operation or other skills as needed, is a plus. Possesses excellent communication skills within the QA team and cross-team; able to communicate efficiently and effectively across geographically dispersed teams.

Self-driven with a high degree of responsibility and reliability.

Possesses good math skills and basic accounting skills.

Doesn't object to working around money or to repetitious tasks.

Must come into the office to work, no smart working allowed for this role.
