Within the Pharma Services of Thermo Fisher Scientific, Monza Site is responsible for the development and commercial production of drugs improving the life of millions of patients.

To achieve this ambitious goal we're looking for a **Financial Analyst III - FP&A **to support our Commercial & Development operations in one of our largest & most successful sterile injectable sites in Monza, Italy.
The position reports to the Finance Manager, provides business partnership to several key functions, such as business, client service, operation, quality, HR, engineering, technical services and overlooks at operations involving more than a thousand employees & generating Revenues in excess of $400M.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Consolidate, report and analyze period-end P&L results and other key metrics of the business unit; recommend accruals to ensure accurate reporting, identify anomalies and propose remediation actions
- Develop, standardize and improve regular analyses and reports to share business and financial insights and support monthly /quarterly /annual forecasting process (i.e.
support MBR, QBR, AOP, etc.
)
- Responsible for analyzing cost center spending vs budget and investigates variances, independently investigate data issues and/or information given, ask pertinent questions and identify root causes, collaborate with functional business partners and system support to improve data quality
- Support headcount reporting for the Site including ensuring data accuracy in Workday
- Participate in practical process improvement (PPI) projects and develop the ability to communicate and illustrate accurate financials analysis to management
- Provide ad-hoc analysis as required by Finance leadership on near-term business decisions and update dashboards and other business intelligence tools
- Proactively support to maintain/improve the Internal Control System to ensure that financials and SOX controls are met and participate in Internal and External audits' activities
- Translate business inputs into financial assumptions, build and maintain forecast models to project future business trends, results, etc.
covering areas including revenue, new product launch, pricing, operating expense, CAPEX, AR etc.
- Proactively learn and adopt both Company existing tools and new systems to improve analytics capability and accuracy
As a member of the FP&A team, this experienced Financial Analyst will create significant value for the dedicated Business Unit, helping to drive growth, improve productivity reducing complexity and improving transparency for the division's results.
The role will primarily be focused on consolidating, analyzing and reporting on the division's total results, including revenues, operating expenses, headcount, inventory, AR and Capex.
**Requirements/Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- 5+ years of relevant Finance work experience in a Manufacturing Company
- Strong experience within FP&A is preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of ERP/Reporting systems (i.e.
SAP, Hyperion, HFM) is a value added
- Fluent English is required
- Ability to work with management at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
- Excellent analytical and modeling skills
- Ability to lead multi-functional projects and to identify control weaknesses in existing process recommending mitigation actions
Limited travel involved, less than 10% of total time
