Monitor the marketplace to identify opportunities to stay ahead of the competitors. Based on a theme or on MRTW Fashion Design Director inputs, research inspiration through relevant and dynamic methods including art and technology, archives, suppliers, books and magazines etc. Design and creativity: Propose new ideas and concepts based on research and inspiration. Develop sketches in coherence with the inputs and the brand's aesthetic. Work on collection development with the MRTW Fashion Design Director to follow and manage all elements of the design process and collection development. Continuously interact with different categories to ensure coherence in the Fashion Show/Collection project. Ensure interactions with Merchandising, sharing information on the Fashion Show developments and guaranteeing the application of inputs received. Fashion Show development: In collaboration with the MRTW Fashion Design Director, ensure accurate control of the developed samples, verifying their coherence with the initial drawings, making sure the samples reflect the ideas, and ensuring that the materials are appropriate and enhance the product. Ensure clear communication with Product Development and Pattern Makers, providing all necessary information (e.g., proportions, sizes, materials, colors) for sample realization. Monitor the development of samples, supporting Product Development by explaining product peculiarities or providing solutions in case of issues managing collection administrative duties. Requirements Functional Strong passion and genuine interest in the industry. 3-5 years of experience in a similar role (specific to Outerwear or Sportswear). Good knowledge of product development including constructions, materials, trim, techniques, and industrial production processes. Sound knowledge of fashion, trends, designers, and the history of the brand. Good hand-drawing and creative communication skills. Dynamic, creative and flexible mind, able to adapt to the brand's aesthetic. Proficient in all design platforms such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Suite. Positive spirit, able to forge working teams with different multicultural personalities. Problem-solving and solution-oriented with a 'Can-do' attitude.
