Main Responsibilities
- Supporting the Sales Manager driving the bid process up to contractual negotiations, acting as a liaison among Sales, Operational Functions, Finance and Legal
- Supporting the Offer Team selecting the most appropriate and relevant solutions for each bid, focused in particular on the main clients
- Monitoring the Offer Delivery Plan together with the Offer Team member and scheduling the Bid Reviews
- Guaranteeing that the Company Functions in charge are timely and effectively involved to ensure the correctness and completeness of the offer data package, in particular as far as offer cost estimates are concerned
- Guaranteeing the preparation of relevant price build up documents and price auditing material in accordance with the current regulatory scenario and supporting the Sales Manager in discussing the offer package in contractual negotiations
- Elaborating Annual Order Acquisition forecast and contributing to the Medium and Long-Term Budget plan, ensuring estimate validations in connection with the other functions involved
- Contributing to develop knowledge of business, product and services on the basis of the past bids and experiences
- Regularly Update Customer Relationship Management Tools data and reference document store in support of formal process authorization steps, knowledge management and quality audits
Technical Requirements
- 5-7 years bid management related experience preferable related to the Defense sector
- Experience in properly setting-up and coordinating the bid response process all along the whole opportunity lifecycle
- Fluent in English
Education
Master's degree in Economics or Engineering
