Pisa Research Center plays a leading role within Huawei Group in researching new technologies and applications in the field of automotive software.In this role, you will be a versatile software developer who can support the design, development and implementation of safety-oriented kernel level functionalities and optimizations.You will join a dynamic and highly collaborative team of experts and PhDs passionate about research projects and innovative solutions.Main responsibilities:Design and Develop safe and efficient Linux kernel componentsDesign and Develop components based on the POSIX standard, including a POSIX-based OS, Hypervisor.Cooperate with safety experts to define safety requirements, safety mechanisms and failure mode analysisDesign and Development of an Emulation infrastructure for emulating the behavior of complex software on a virtual platform.Requirements:Good knowledge of Linux kernel internalPhD/Master Degree in Engineering / Computer ScienceGood knowledge of the C languageKnowledge of computer architecture (e.g. interrupts, memory management, most common peripheral structure)Knowledge of real-time OSs and concurrent programmingKnowledge of debugging techniques (e.g. gdb) of multithreaded and/or multi-process codeGood communication skills, ability to work in multi-cultural environments, strong team working attitudeFluent in English and availability to travel outside ItalyFollowing will be a plus:Knowledge of Hypervisor TechnologiesExperience in automotive safety-oriented developmentExperience on hardware assisted debuggingWe offer a career development in a challenging work environment, a competitive salary package, access to cutting edge technologies and state of the art equipment, opportunity to travel abroad to public events or conferences.Software Developer/Engineer - Graduate Development ProgramSenior Full Stack Software Developer, ItalySoftware Engineer - Cross-platform C++ - Multipass #J-18808-Ljbffr
