Gowan has an opportunity for an entry-level Analytical Technician within the Residue Analysis /Metabolism& Environmental Fate Departments of the Research Centre located in Novara.
This will be a fixed-term contract role.
**Role**:
- The Chemical Analyst will prepare the lab samples and execute the extraction and clean-up steps for the analysis of active ingredients and metabolites, also by using radioisotopes as labelled tracers.
**Qualifications**:
- Required high school diploma/bachelor's degree in Chemistry or equivalent
- Excellent attention to details and good organizational skills
- Good critical thinking skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to follow instructions and procedures
- Ability to independently work
- Experience in GLP analysis is a plus
- Good knowledge of English
**Responsibilities**:
- Sample grinding, mincing, preparation and glassware care
- Execution of procedural analytical steps in different matrices such as crop, soil and water
