Competitive Research: Conduct competitive research, including benchmarking and tracking competitor activity.
Understand competitors' strengths, weaknesses, and direction.
Gather feedback from sales and other sources.
Customer Research: Research customers and prospects.
Gather feedback about issues and opportunities.
Support the win/loss analysis and the customer experience research.
Conduct competitive pricing analysis and gather customer insights on pricing.
Support price determination for strategic customers in collaboration with the sales team.
Identify attractive market segments using needs and other factors.
Understand segment sizing and other relevant factors to target market segments with relevant propositions.
Propositions: Create and capture new ideas for product propositions.
Analyse and build propositions for different target market segments.
Determine appropriate messaging and positioning against external competition and internal products.
Write and develop sales and marketing content, including messaging for websites, explainer videos, case studies, social media, FAQs, white papers, sales tools, and presentations.
Produce and regularly update product collateral such as terms and conditions, catalogues, data sheets, and declarations of conformity.
Create an updated version of the product catalogue and make it easy to access and browse for Customers and Sales.
Deliver sales training and support sales calls.
Attend or present at sales as the product representative.
Provide input to Marketing & Sales campaigns and initiatives, including upselling and cross-selling strategies.
Collaborate with Sales to create product marketing/content marketing campaigns, including thought leadership, lead generation, acquisition, and retention.
Launch: Prepare the product for launch, including developing marketing and sales plans, creating promotional content, and tracking launch readiness.
Ensure the Sales team is trained and ready for product launches.
Communicate and build momentum across the business for product launches.
End-of-life: Assist in withdrawing products from the market, ensuring a smooth transition and retaining Customers for future products.
Product Performance: Review data and reports on product performance.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective plans if needed.
Ensure the product meets business objectives by regularly reviewing product performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements : Must-haves: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in product marketing, market research, and competitive analysis.
Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
Ability to segment markets and create data-backed propositions.
Languages: Fluency in Italian and English (mandatory level B2 or above) (will be tested during the selection process).
Advanced Microsoft Office skills: Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), Word (revisions, cross-references), PowerPoint (timed presentations) (will be tested during the selection process).
Nice-to-have: Knowledge of other European languages (Portuguese, Spanish, French, German).
