The Jr Commercial financial analyst oversees and conducts the conversion of data into insights that will lead to informed business decisions for internal purposes in Commercial Finance and for external stakeholders in Bacardi.
He/She, works directly with stakeholders and the business's top management and executives within the assigned departments.
The Financial Analyst will have to handle multiple simultaneous tasks, prioritize work, and remain functional under pressure, and aggressive timelines.
The final goal is to proactively find new way of working and information in order to deliver the highest possible value to the business.
**Responsibilities**:
- Main responsibilities in this position, the Financial analyst will be responsible to manage trade spending and optimize the workflow and processes related.
He/she will be responsible of the correctness of the trade spending booking during the month end process.
- Audit/Sox: The Financial Analyst will be the main point of contact of internal and external audit and SOX controls providing on time and precise information and explanation of the financial figures.
- Data infrastructure: The Financial Analyst will be the lead of developing a data environmental system in Power BI which will be the key source of information of all the departments integrating local and regional reporting.
The Financial Analyst supports and executes change management activities regarding data analysis across business departments and works on the data knowledge improvement of the other departments supporting them both providing information and training them on the different tools.
- Support: The Financial Analyst plays a supporting role in the business (especially sales) and he/she is also the responsible of the position to build and operationalize processes that ensure timely data-loading and maintain accuracy and data-quality.
He/she could be involved in structure cost ad hoc analysis and marketing spending.
- He/She additionally identifies and communicates risks and issues in projects/programs initiated by the assigned departments and communicates this information to the relevant leadership.
- This role is varied and will require interacting with the Sales teams, Business analysts, IT departments and other key stakeholder in Milan and Italy.
As a result, you will be mainly based in Milan but at times we may need you to travel to stay connected.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or any other related field.
- A strong and verifiable equivalent of the same in working experience and on-going studies is also acceptable for this position.
- Experience: At least 3 years in audit or commercial finance position in a fast-paced and dynamic business setting.
- Have had experience working in trade spending management, audit/SOX and accounting
- Strong knowledge of Excel, accounting, SAP & Power BI will be a strong plus
- Self - organisation and problem solver
- Proficiency in English language skills
- Ability to transform large sets of data into meaningful insights and then to recommend tangible actions to improve the business
