The position is based in our HQ in Rome and part of the Ready to Wear & Furs Industrial Planning & Production team.
The Production Planning Specialist will assure operationally the feasibility of the product category's annual production plans and guarantee with her/his daily actions the Production planning in the short term, respecting deadlines, and time constraints.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**- Prepare product category's annual production plan assuring production feasibility and business' requests accordingly;
- Give support in compiling the production collection launch plan as well as draw up the production progress;
- Collaborate with Merchandising and Supply Chain teams to set up the appropriate production capacity to support business' needs;
- Regularly manage any issue for availability of raw material & components to ensure constant feasibility of production plan;
- Participate in the short term planification activities, having contacts with external suppliers for production follow up;
- Be able to propose improvements of the existing flows and processes, developing and executing new solutions.
**Profile**:
- Masters Degree in Management Engineering
- 2-3 years of experience in Production Planning within complex Organizations, preferably in fashion luxury companies
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong analytical skills, precision and proactive approach
- Continuous improvement attitude, flexibility and priority management skills
- Team working skills with the ability to interact with cross-functional teams
- Good level of English
