Automation PLC Engineer in Naples The Company:
Piper Maddox has the opportunity to partner with some of the world's fastest growing Energy Storage manufacturers and developers, ranging from Cells, Module, Packs for use within a multitude of uses in the energy storage industry.
Due to significant growth with a new product line, our client is hiring for a PLC Software Engineer to join their team in Naples. This is a great opportunity to join the battery industry with no previous battery experience.
The Role:
Supporting the creation of project specifications as part of the entire full design process lifecycle. Carrying out software writing tasks for HMIs, PLCs, and SCADA. Collaborating with colleagues across various functions to support the delivery of products on time. Developing and maintaining both well-structured and commented code. Commissioning new machines at the facility. Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical and/or Automation Engineering. 3-6 years in a similar Assembly Process environment OR 1-3 years of experience in Li-ion battery. Must have experience editing and modifying programs in Siemens S7 & Beckhoff Twin Cat. Must have the ability to relocate to Italy. Must have intermediate English-speaking ability.
