Catalent's Anagni facility is a world-class, late-stage and commercial product launch site offering sterile and biologics manufacturing and secondary packaging with extensive expertise in vial and syringes filling for aseptic liquid.
The site has a demonstrated track record in technical transfers and a robust quality record for commercial product launches.- The facility also offers comprehensive, commercial packaging solutions for oral solid dose, including primary and secondary packaging and serialization.- For the Anagni's plant we have been entrusted with the search for the Maintenance Manager.
**The Role**:
The Maintenance Manager, will be in charge of managing and coordinate the effective performance of preventive, reactive and predictive maintenance activities related to production and automation systems (Palletizer and AWH) with a view to Operation Excellence, coordinating the necessary resources according to the requests and needs of the different reference BU, ensuring that all maintenance, Compliance and GMP criteria are met.
Specifically:
- Schedule and organize work plans in collaboration with Planning and Production.
- Manage the effective performance of electrical and mechanical maintenance activities according to the requests and needs of the site and of the different Bus.
- Analyze the necessary resources and allocate staff according to workplans.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of collaborators, in compliance with the times, budget and procedures.
- Check compliance with the timing of preventive, reactive and predictive interventions of the stop of the plants and / or machines.
- Support improvements related to the modification and implementation of new plants and / or machines, in collaboration with Production and Engineering.
- Check and verify the execution of calibration and maintenance procedures.
- Evaluate the quality and performance of external companies in relation to the interventions, the requirements and the cost of the service, the offers for services and materials related to maintenance activities
- Participate in the definition of the annual maintenance budget and maintain control of the same contributing to the achievement of the assigned objectives.
- Coordinate electrical and mechanical maintenance personnel and propose technical training plans where necessary.
- Update technical procedures and the correct archiving of plant manuals.
- Collaborate with Quality for the closure of technical deviations.
- Review the OEE data for the different lines in order to minimize stops related to machine wear or lack of maintenance.
- Ensure the correct execution of the technical and / or mandatory training, even on the job, of the reference BU.
- Realize, in collaboration with the leading BU and the HR function, development paths of its collaborators, also with training and coaching activities, releasing continuous feedback.
- Ensure that all personnel under its supervision (collaborators, contractors) operate in accordance with the cGMP and EHS procedures.
Assuring the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) drafting and assure the implementation of training in compliance with current regulations (GMP, CRF 21 part 111 and ISO 13485), internal and corporate procedures and in compliance with security and safety in the workplace.
**Requirements**:
- Scientific degree (Chemical or Mechanical Engineering)
- At least 5 years within similar role in complex and structured organization in the Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage or Electronic's production industry.
- Previous experience in managing large teams and significant budgets.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Knowledge of preventive, fault and emergency maintenance logics.
- Knowledge of production processes and safety, health and environmental procedures.
- Analytical knowledge of the installed systems and their operation.
- Good People Management skills
- Consolidated knowledge of asepsis techniques (sterile area) is a plus
