Innovate to solve the world's most important challengesWe are currently seeking a Junior Project Manager for our Honeywell Building Solutions division based in Roma.This role is part of our University Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell.
This apprenticeship is set up for 24 months starting in January 2025.Honeywell Building Solutions is a $2.5B strategic business unit inside of Honeywell's Global Building Technologies Business.
HBS installs and maintains the systems to help keep buildings and facilities connected, safe, secure, comfortable, and cost-efficient and is a leading provider of energy efficiency solutions worldwide.Responsibilities:Work with a Sr Project Manager on multiple projects to ensure excellent execution and deliver on-budget and on-time.Track, plan and coordinate in detail the implementation of projects including costs, schedule, performance, status, and budgets.Use specific project engineering software tools.Assess project risks and blockers.Track and own some elements of the continuous quality improvement efforts such as localization quality assurance and localization and engineering bug triage.Work closely with stakeholders and handle communication with linguists, product management, and sales and marketing teams.Skills and Qualifications:Be eligible for an apprenticeship contract.Advanced student or recent graduate from a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Management.Ability to balance multiple cross-functional stakeholders with varying needs of complexity.Flexibility to deal with changes, delays, interruptions, and unexpected events.Fluent in both Italian and English.Excellent communication skills (verbal and written): able to break down complex topics into simple solutions and ideas.We Offer:A culture that fosters inclusion, diversity, and innovation.You will be trained as Project Manager for Building Automation Controls, Fire Alarm, Security, and systems installations of various sizes.A stimulating and international working environment with big challenges to be met every day.An environment where curiosity is highly appreciated and where we guarantee continuous training.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
