We're looking for a talented Merger & Acquisitions Manager, to join our M&A global team.
The position will report to Barilla M&A Director and will be based in our Headquarters in Parma.
**Job Purpose**
The M&A Manager supports and proactively and autonomously contributes to the execution of Mergers & Acquisitions and broader corporate finance transactions working collaboratively with many different internal and external stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Co-ordinate the Due Diligences, being the projects referent for Barilla teams as well for external advisers
- Prepare summary presentations for the M&A Director about key findings of the Due Diligence process
- Update from time to time the Group's Weighted Average Cost of Capital utilized for RCA and investments projects, in line with the Company guidelines, sharing the analysis with finance referents in the different countries
- In case of sell-side M&A processes, prepare the information memorandum, co-ordinate the internal data collection and manage the data-room working collaboratively with all the different stakeholders
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Economics/Finance or equivalent
- Previous experience first in Auditing (min 2 years) and then Transaction Services/Corporate Finance (min 2+ years), preferably in a consultancy firm with worldwide recognition.
- Working experience in Investment Banking (1-2 years) would complete the profile
- Strong attention to details and quality-control focus
- Knowledge of financial modeling and valuation analysis techniques (the latter is not mandatory)
- Good knowledge of financial statements analysis techniques
- Goal orientation, ability to manage complex and multiple tasks, strong interpersonal skills and effective communication (oral and written) with all stakeholders
- Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work efficiently and diligently against stringent time deadlines
- Fluency in English, the knowledge of Italian as additional language will be preferred
- Availability to travel in Italy and abroad
