_ Be a part of our family_ As part of the Italian region, the Category Manager is focusing on the Retail Business dealing with the sales and the marketing team, the primary focus is on developing category strategy of frozen potatoes supporting Key account Manager / National account manager with analysis and development plan in order to build and maintain strong market share position on frozen category.
ABOUT THE ROLE Support sales team with detailed analysis about assortment of customers, positioning and performances Translate the category strategy of the company into applicable planogram to share with customers and build partnership with them Define best assortment per channel / client and best shelf layout Monitoring category and brand performance Customer monitoring through Statigest tool (winter and summer assortment, frozen space and price positioning, competition) and provide analysis to KAM and NAM Continuous monitoring / participation to meeting with local customer together with key accounts manager / NAM in order to propose the right assortment and category strategy Collaborating with KAM and NAM to get fresh insight from the market and proactively turn these inputs into actionable commercial plans Market knowledge Shopper trends analysis, new consumer trends Customer assortment analysis (shelf space, product listing,distribution) Share with the team information about the market, competition and their products.
Sell out analysis, distribution of product and performances Marketing & Quality Support Work closely with Marketing Retail Operation to drive the growth of the category Increase awareness of McCain brand via trade presentation giving update of the market, new launch and strategy of the company Share and analyse with Marketing team the opportunity of new products launch Reporting Activities Monitors the performance national customers through regular assessment of activities and reports Creating tool of analysis in order to support sales team in the implementation of category strategy and product distribution WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We are looking for someone who is fully passionate person for Food and for retail market.

And as well, you must also Have a master degree in Business school / administration Have at least 3 / 5 years of experience in category management or Trade Marketing Have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Have excellent written and oral communication skills Have a real passion for, and understanding of, food industry Have a proven experience of working within FMCG WHERE YOU'LL WORK Our offices are based in Bergamo, we operate a Hybrid working policy, and your success will be measured by the objectives you deliver, and not where you're based.
