If you have questions about the application process, please refer to the Applicant FAQ's.Shift DetailsNight (3rd) Shift: 10pm - 6:30am (Sunday night - Thursday night)Posting DetailsPosting Number: 20243926SPosition Title: Custodian (Night Shift/3rd Shift)Position Type: StaffLocation: Villanova, PARecruitment Type: Internal/External ApplicantsWork Schedule: full-time/12-monthsDepartment: 809-Custodial ServicesPosition SummaryUnder the moderate direction of a supervisor, performs general cleaning duties within dormitories, offices, and other public facilities areas.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPicks up and disposes of trash, to include the proper handling of recyclable materials.Operates and maintains automated and powered equipment such as:Buffers and/or other automatic floor care equipment.Carpet cleaning equipment.Wall washing equipment.Scrubs, strips, seals and/or finishes floors.Removes snow and ice and cleans and/or picks up debris, such as leaves and paper, around entrances and fire exits (including fire escapes), and from the steps and walkways (generally distances of ten feet or less) leading to buildings.Minimum QualificationsH.S.
Diploma or equivalent.Ability to follow both written and oral directions.
Ability to interact with customers (students, faculty, administration), co-workers, and supervisors in a positive and helpful manner.
