RINA is currently recruiting for a Renewable Performance Engineer to join its office in Rome, Lecce, Bari, Milan or Genoa - Italy within the Power Division.
Mission RINA Consulting is looking for an Engineer (Electrical, Energy, Civil) with up to 3 years of experience, willing to develop a career in consulting in the energy sector (mainly renewable sources); this role offers involvement in many high-profile projects at an international level. The selected candidate will join the Power Southern Europe team that provides engineering and consulting services for renewable energy (mainly solar, wind and battery storage).
Key Accountabilities Execution of producibility studies, technology selection, feasibility studies / preliminary design of PV/wind/BESS systems and sizing of the main components.
Analysis of contractual documentation, environmental studies, authorizations, health and safety reports, grid connection technical documentation.
Conducting site visits/joining Senior Consultants on-site visit inspections and supporting the production of relevant reports.
Project management activities, proactive communication with customers and interfacing with the internal team and stakeholders to meet customer needs.
Support in the preparation of proposals.
Education Master's Degree in Engineering General.
Qualifications Engineering degree ( mechanical, electrical, civil, management ) or equivalent is required.
Previous experience in the renewable energy sector is essential (preferably solar photovoltaic and/or wind power).
Previous work/internship experience for a consulting company is preferable.
An excellent level of written and spoken Italian and English is essential.
