Posting Details Position Information: Posting Number: 20245255VPosition Title: Ticket Office AssistantPosting Type: StudentHours/week: 10Eligibility: Work study preferred but open to all studentsSemester: 2024 FallLocation: Detailed Work Schedule: Weeknight and weekend athletic events.Number of positions: 12Department: 728-Athl - Ticket OfficeContact Name: Gina PalermoContact Phone/Extension: ****** Position Summary Information Job Description Summary: In accordance with established policies and procedures, the Ticket Office Assistant provides exceptional customer service in person at the ticket office on game days for events hosted by Villanova Athletics.
Answer customer inquiries and process ticket sales via walk-up orders.
Responsible for daily reconciliation of ticket sales and payments.
Other assignments may include but are not limited to the compliance pass entrance, will-call distribution and scanning operations.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Ticket Office staff.
Requirements Experience in an in-person customer service position.
Familiarity with MS Office applications (Word/Excel).
Dependable, punctual and possess effective communication and problem-solving skills, as well as strong attention to detail.
Customer-friendly personality and project a positive image of the University and the Athletics Department.
Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work weeknights and weekends as needed for events, including working all home football games.
Reliable transportation to and from athletic events.
Additional Information: Athletic ticketed sports throughout the 2024-2025 seasons include: Football, Women's and Men's Basketball, and Men's Lacrosse.
1-2 years customer service experience preferred.
