Intesa Sanpaolo is the banking group leader in Italy. Assisting more than 14.6 million retail customers through a network of 5,360 branches, it significantly supports the development of companies and gives an important sustain to the country's growth. The Group has a selected retail banking presence in Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, with approximately 1,000 branches and 7.2 million customers in 12 countries. Intesa Sanpaolo is also present in 25 countries in support of its corporate customers' cross-border business. It is looking for new qualified profiles who want to face a demanding and challenging career path.
Scope and Purpose The candidate will be primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of live deals, managing internal processes as well as supporting the outbound marketing activity. Additionally, he will be responsible for the production of materials for internal approval committees, syndication purposes, and marketing efforts. Primary responsibilities will include:
Origination
Manage pitch processes in cooperation with other teams across the bank;
Interact with external clients and internal stakeholders;
Build and maintain internal and external networks;
Maintain a high degree of market awareness and identify new business opportunities.
Execution
Manage the day-to-day execution of live deals, with a solid understanding of the transaction process from end-to-end;
Have a sound understanding of internal mechanisms of the organization;
Collaborate and coordinate with other areas of the bank to ensure smooth marketing/approval processes and deal execution;
Interact with clients and other advisors (lawyers, co-advisors, etc.) at an appropriate level;
Monitor and manage the credit performance of the portfolio.
Required Experience Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting from a leading university with an excellent academic record;
Fluent in Italian and English;
Proven advanced credit/risk analysis and financial modeling skills;
Deep knowledge of cashflow financing;
Adept at receiving and synthesizing information;
Show outstanding analytical skills;
Experience managing Term Debt & HYB transactions, from origination to structuring and execution;
Ability to analyze and conduct independent due diligence of transactions, plus identify industry/market trends;
Good knowledge of legal and contractual features of LBO financing;
Background in preparation of marketing materials / commercial pitches to clients.
