The Applied Research Division of Cognitive and Psychological Sciences at the European Institute of Oncology (IEO), Milano (Italy), is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher to work in the European Horizon project "An Interdisciplinary Approach for the Management of the Elderly Multimorbid Patient with Breast Cancer Therapy Induced Cardiac Toxicity" (CARDIOCARE).
Using an innovative eHealth approach, the CARDIOCARE project pursues a threefold aim: 1) to develop a patient-centred risk stratification model able to predict cardiotoxicity before starting of treatments, 2) to test the effectiveness of a mobile App assessing and monitoring elderly breast cancer patients' intrinsic capacity and QoL, 3) to test the eHealth interventions' effectiveness on improving patients' intrinsic capacity and QoL.
The recruited postdoctoral research fellow will be integrated in the Applied Research Division of Cognitive and Psychological Sciences, which offers a vibrant research environment in active collaboration with other IEO Departments and the University of Milan.
The contract will be for two years
