Direct reports to regional and/or national finance/accounting managers
Summary Job Description.
1.
**Oversee all financial and accounting operations (Reporting and Consolidation area)** and you will be in charge of ensuring the correct implementation of contracts between Group companies.
2.
You will act as a partner to the fiscal team and affiliate finance managers **to ensure that all TP contracts **are properly reviewed by contributing to the simplification of contract terms and conditions
3.
Coordinates and directs the preparation of the Group's budget and financial forecasts and reports on deviations.
4.
Prepares timely periodic (monthly, quarterly, and annual) management and financial reports.
**Detailed job description**
- Accounting and financial reporting of the holding company (LIGG s.r.l.)
(stand-alone and consolidated)
- Oversee the accounting operations of the Group
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the Group's budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Prepare the Group's periodic management and financial reports on a timely basis.
- Support month, quarter, and year-end close processes, working with regional/national finance staff.
- Develops, documents, and maintains business processes, accounting policies, and related guidelines to maintain and strengthen internal controls and reporting reliability.
- Ensures quality control of financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Oversees compliance with local legal accounting and auditing requirements and tax return filing requirements.
- Supports management in dealing with external debt providers.
- Principal liaison with LIGG's external auditors.
- Additional audit duties as needed
**Required Experience.
**
Accountant with strong technical skills and ability to collaborate with business and operational stakeholders in a rapidly growing international company:
- Proven work experience as a **Financial Controller in an international environmen**t
- **3+ years of combined accounting and finance experience with (TP focus)** within a growing international company.
- CPA or CMA preferred, but not essential
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience in creating financial statements
- Experience with general accounting functions and the month/year-end close process
- Excellent skills in the use and administration of Excel and accounting software
English is the primary working language.
Knowledge of Spanish and/or another European or Asian language is preferred.
Willingness to travel from time to time is required.
