ideal candidate for the Senior Data Scientist role at NTT DATA will possess a mix of skills, including hands-on Generative AI experience (preferably on Azure/GCP and on-premise), engineering best practices, statistical expertise, Machine and Deep Learning skills, and strong business acumen.
The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, ML engineers, product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders from internal teams and external clients.
They will be responsible for managing multiple projects, leading data scientists, and liaising with client stakeholders to ensure timely and quality execution.
Required SkillsExperience of at least 3-5 years as a data scientistStrong Python (mandatory) and SQL coding skillsKnowledge of Java/Scala or C++/R is a plusExperience with TensorFlow and PyTorch, focusing on Computer Vision solutionsKnowledge of ML solutions architecture and Generative AI pipelinesExperience with cloud and hybrid ML implementationsAbility to incorporate new business intelligence, machine learning, and alternative data practices to improve efficiency and revenueOwnership of the full data science project lifecycle from data wrangling to deploymentCollaboration with data engineers to produce production-ready pipelinesResearch and analysis into reinsurance and advisory products to enhance industry models and develop new offeringsEstablishing and maintaining strong relationships with team members and clientsLocationMilano, Bari, Bologna, Cosenza, Napoli, Roma, Salerno, Torino
