The selected candidate will develop a highly specialized know-how by working with experts in the field and will also have significant opportunities for professional development and career evolution in a challenging area. Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The High Voltage (HV) Benches Testing Engineer is accountable for Plant benches coordination and tests execution supporting projects validation test plan, testing procedures and qualification for both prototyping and series production vehicles. Principal subjects: Testing engineering, planning, risk assessment, tracking, activities coordination, tests execution, benches use. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate and perform tests in accordance with international standards on electrical for LV and HV-power components, for LV/HV electric lines, thermal and mechanical tests. Coordinate and perform vehicle tests in accordance with international standards, through benches use like Dyno bench test, Battery bench and Batteries emulator, EMC equipment. Maintain a safety mindset and approach on all testing techniques. Manage measuring instruments and testing tools such as: CanAlyzer ETAS INCA Multimeters Oscilloscopes Power analyzer Sensors (digital/analog) Prepare test reports and technical procedures. Project and develop new test methods, also by using automation software. Improve existing test methods. Analyze the test methods by understanding the international standards. Provide expert support on high voltage topics to other team members. Communicate proactively to management all project issues, risks and required resources. Analyze and understand CAN, LIN and other common automotive networks using CanAlyzer or similar tools. Analyze the common automotive diagnostic methods according to standard international protocols. Candidate Profile: DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS: Knowledge of high voltage components functionalities and HW specifications. Knowledge of testing equipment use like dyno benches, EMC tools, Power benches. Define and execute high voltage components and vehicles testing activities. Analyze and track component testing results in line with the validation plan. Issue definition and resolution in collaboration with suppliers and other team members for specific HV components. Basic knowledge of homologation requirements, especially at vehicle & component level. Basic knowledge of electro-mechanical systems. Knowledge of electric and hybrid driveline architectures. Knowledge of electronic circuits and understanding of electric and electronic schematics. Basic knowledge in CAN bus network management and LIN communication protocol. Computer skills: Windows operating systems Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Microsoft Outlook Microsoft Project CanAlyzer ETAS INCA Multimeters Oscilloscopes Power analyzer Sensors (digital/analog) Place of work: Genoa Additional Information: LI-VO1 J-18808-Ljbffr
