We are currently seeking a Pressure Equipment Engineer JR (fresh graduate), reporting directly to Pressure Equipment Section Head to join our equipment engineering division team based in Rome, Italy.About the JobYou will work inside the Pressure Equipment department that is in charge of mechanical design, procurement and supplier management of pressure equipment (such as reactors, towers, drums, heat exchangers and storage items).
You will lead the integration of the equipment in the plant and you will verify the technical conformity of each component with the project specifications.Responsibilities:Ensure timely and qualitative preparation of project technical specifications in coordination with other disciplines;Equipment preliminary design to calculate minimum thicknesses and foundation loads;Preparation of material requisition for inquiry;Technical analysis of received bids;Preparation of material requisition for purchase;Managing of detailed engineering phase and technical follow up of the orders ensuring proper communication with suppliers;Adhere to the committed man/hours and budget;Meet quality and HSE objectives of the project;Interface with other discipline engineers and project supporting functions such as planning and cost controller engineers.You will have the opportunity to have business trips to attend technical meetings with Clients or Suppliers, visit Vendor workshops, move to other Technip Energies operating centers and join our colleagues overseas.
You will also have the opportunity to follow up engineering activities directly on our sites, supporting erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities.About YouWe'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:Qualifications: Master degree in Mechanical EngineeringLanguages: Fluent in EnglishMain Skills:Attitude to perform the work in a team, in an international and multi-cultural environment;Availability for international mobility for either short or long-term assignments;Capability to complete tasks on time with the required Company quality level;Knowledge of new energy sources, renewables, green/blue hydrogen technologies;Knowledge of digital tools.What's next?Forecast Starting Date: 4th quarter 2023.Once receiving your application, a recruiter performs an initial check and a review is further carried out by the hiring manager.
