Engineering Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute technical assignments.
Each day, you will deliver technical solutions as per agreed timeline and standards using established solutions.
You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the development of technical expertise solutions and services.
The work model for the role is: #On-Site.
This role is contributing to the Electrification in Frosinone.
Main stakeholders are R&D team, manufacturing quality and related areas.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Leading and managing projects and activities during the life cycle of the electronic products after the release for sales managing interdependencies between cross-functional workstreams to realize specified deliverables and benefits.Managing cost, schedule and performance objectives of the projects and its work packages within a global organization, taking into consideration requirements and demands coming from customers and from internally within ABB.Ensuring appropriate requirements within the projects and understanding of customer value in projects.Ensuring transparency around change requests, unforeseen results/events and identified risks and ensuring that they are properly managed and communicated.Managing all products variants and customization requests in accordance with the ABB gate model from the request to the release for sales.Working closely with product manager, operation, sales units, development teams, providing the best solution to fulfill the business case and customer satisfaction in terms of response and delivery time, quality level and product performance.Transferring new products from R&D development team to Operation with all the set of documentation (BoM, Working Instruction, Spare parts list, Product Manuals....). You will join a dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the role You hold a master's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.Positive spirit, proactivity, teamwork, speediness and problem-solving orientation; commitment to deliver results by taking responsibility to execute assigned tasks and projects.You are innovative around manufacturing technologies; related experiences could be considered a plus.A very good knowledge of MS Office, 2D/3D CAD systems are further requirements.You are at ease communicating in Italian and English.
