We are now looking for a Project Engineer specialized in AUT system.
We are searching for a new resource to develop documents and drawings related to New Building and Service Automation Projects. He/She must have an understanding of electrical engineering, CAD drawings, and system documentation development (good knowledge of Office Package, with particular attention to Excel and Word).
This position includes working with external stakeholders (Fincantieri, Various Ship Owners) and colleagues from the Automation Team and other departments (Sales, Product, R&D, Project Management, etc.). You should easily interact with people from all organisational levels, building bridges and creating connections.
The preferred location for the position holder is Diano d'Alba (Italy), with the possibility of short trips.
Wärtsilä APSS Technical office is in charge of handling and managing all electrical aspects of the projects:
Main Switchboard Shore cubicle set-upCable list and dimensioning, panels and cabinets' electrical drawingsDedicated Engineering development (i.e. Electric Load Balance Calculation)Factory Acceptance TestDocumentation to be sent to the Class for ApprovalTo develop this kind of engineering, a deep knowledge of electrical matters is requested, so an electrical engineer can be the right figure to be in charge of this.
Responsibilities include:
