About This Opportunity: The role is responsible for coordinating the development team working in the evolution of our Marketplace, managing 4 developers, and collaborating within the Scrum team with 1 QA and the Test Analysts. As software development manager you will also be responsible for supporting business and product development processes and mediating collaboration between the Product Manager, Business Analyst and the Design area.
Reports to: Product Project Manager
Location: Biassono or Milan, Italy

Responsibilities:Accountable for the technical design, delivery, maintenance and integration of the product owned by your teamBe responsible for assuring the quality of the product following agreed quality assurance standardsLeading the correct epic - created by business owners - and user story refinement and relative acceptance criteriaReview our interfaces to make them more admin friendly and introduce new methods to automate custom processing to increase the configurability while decreasing the repetition of tasks.Follows and respects in the release process and in the live environments to facilitate the release of separate services and to improve Reliability, Resiliency, Scalability, Ownership, COGSResponsible for the project documentationUser Story splitting, the definition of low-level/more granular User Stories. It includes more granular ACs' titles (Scenarios)Responsible for project documentation, he/she manages the bug lifecycle, defines the Sprint Goal and ensures the completion of the Sprint Goal and the success of the Sprint by resolving impediments Team Leadership:Leading, mentoring, coaching, developing and managing his/her own teamDrive a culture of agility, transformation and team empowerment. Foster a culture of delivering continuous value based on measurable outcomes focussed around business goals and customer satisfactionOwn total service performance, managing communications when conflicts and impediment occur, and leading retrospectives to resolve and mitigate further conflictsRequirements:Minimum of 3 years of equivalent positionExcellent command of the English language and the ability to present and defend your ideas to other key stakeholders both verbally and in writingUnderstanding product development life cycle; Understanding of SDLC including quality assurance, change management, and release processesAbility to work in an Agile/Scrum environmentKnowledge and correct use of Gherkin for writing acceptance criteriaKnowledge of Node.Js or any programming languageExperience with AWS or similar cloud service providersProven planning and prioritizing skills in order to deliver to deadlinesExceptional analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate complex technical conceptsAbility to manage upwards, influencing senior leadersAbility to review processes and drive change through continuous improvementPreferred Requirements:Experience with Trunk Based development / Continuous Integration / Continuous DeliveryExperience with serverless and containerized applicationsExperience with Infrastructure as Code frameworks, in particular AWS CDK Benefits & Perks: -Generous Vacation Policy, plus 2 extra floating holidays to use for religious or cultural events that matter to you
