In the Partnerships and Communications Unit, we ensure that Member nStates, heritage professionals, partners, and main stakeholders are engaged nwith ICCROM and informed of its activities and work. ICCROM seeks a Resource nMobilization Officer to manage and develop a plan for strategic, integrated, nand effective resource mobilization for ICCROM's Programmes, actively identify nand seek funding opportunities, and negotiate funding nagreements. n n
Key nAccountabilities n n
The  Resource Mobilization Officer will work in ICCROM's Partnerships and Communications Unit and report to the Unit Manager under the overall guidance and supervision of the Director-General. The post is based at ICCROM HQ in Rome, Italy. Within delegated authority, the Resource Mobilization Officer will be responsible for the following duties: n n
n Design and develop a Resource Mobilization Plan n aligned with ICCROM's Programmes and within a programmatic approach to n achieve ICCROM's Vision, Mission andGoals. n Identify, seek and mobilize Voluntary Contributions n in an integrated and programmatic manner across Programmes. n Actively map Donors' trends, priorities and calls. n Identify and seek non-earmarked/soft-earmarked, n predictable and multi-year funds for the Programme's sustainability from traditional and non-traditional Donors and other n innovative funding sources and potential resource partners, including the n Private Sector, Foundations, Charities, IFIs, and other types of funding n mechanisms (including GEF and GCF and others), increasingly broadening n the donor base over time. n Initiate and maintain contacts with potential Donors n to explore funding opportunities, lead and coordinate negotiations of n funding agreements and project proposals with governments, international n organizations, private sector and other resource partners. n Coordinate the design and establishment of a n Project-Cycle Manual and related workflow and templates. n Coordinate the establishment of Trust Funds, n including Multi-Donors Trust Funds. n Coordinate the development of Concept Notes and n Project Proposals in close laboration with the Director-General, n ICCROM's Project Managers and Officers to effectively implement the n Resource Mobilization Plan. n Work closely with Programmes leagues to ensure n the overall management and development of resource mobilization activities n and projects. n Prepare donor reports in laboration with Programme n and Accounting leagues and leagues and submit them to donors in a n timely manner. n Organise bilateral and groups meetings with existing n and potential donors and resource partners and prepare relevant documents n and reports. n Perform other duties as assigned consistent with n the staff member's background and experience and the needs of the n organisation. n n Required nqualifications: n n
1.     Education n n
Advanced university ndegree in international development, development economics, international law, nbusiness administration, or another field relevant to the position. Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP or PMI) is a plus. n n 2. Work nexperience
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in the resource mobilization field with similar functions, of which preferably three (3) years acquired in an international organization. Track records in cultivating and securing relevant resources with traditional and non-traditional Donors and other innovative funding sources and potential partners, including the Private Sector, Foundations, Charities, IFIs, and other types of funding mechanisms. n n 3. Demonstrated understanding of cultural heritage conservation and preservation issues at international and national levels and how to develop successful proposals and initiatives to leverage funding and build awareness and support in these areas. Familiarity with multilateral cultural heritage agreements and the work of conventions. A genuine passion for cultural heritage and promoting its conservation. n n 4. Competencies n n

English and French are the working languages of ICCROM. The knowledge of any nother language is an added advantage. n n Remuneration n n The salary and the allowances are net of taxes but subject to various deductions, such as the employee's portion for medical insurance and contribution to the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund.
