**Villa Agrippina a Gran Melia Hotel**, stands on the same historic site.
Villa Agrippina is looking for the upcoming season for a Commis Kitchen to support our Chef de Partie's team by joining our dynamic hotel kitchen team.
The hotel offers contract of 7/8 month with possibility to renewal.
No accomodation is available.
**Job Summary**:
As Commis Kitchen you will run different activities and report to the Chef de Partie and the Chef.
The role is made up of many varying responsibilities.
**What will you be doing?
**
- Preparing, assisting, cooking and presenting high quality dishes in line with our standards
- Assisting the Chef de Partie in cooking and developing dishes
- Preparing meat, fish and vegetables
- Assisting with the management of health and safety
- Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
**What are we looking for?
**
Previous experience in a culinary field in hospitality
Diploma Certification in a Culinary discipline an asset
Strong flexibility and availability to work in a dynamic kitchen
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest and colleagues needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
