Detailed Work Schedule: As summer office intern the intern would work during normal business hours and occasionally assist with site visits and community engagement activities outside of normal hours.

Position Summary InformationJob Description Summary:
The Office Assistant Intern will work with the office of the Center for the Common Good on a variety of projects that benefit the larger community. These projects may include:Working in asset managementKeeping storage areas organizedMaintaining a database of items that are suitable for reuse.Overseeing the end of year clean up:Maintaining collection binsWorking with volunteers for sorting and itemizing itemsCentralizing networks of donation items by working with the team for the Nova Nook, Wildcat Wardrobe, and Wildcat Thrift.Supporting social media efforts of the programs.The outcome of this work will directly benefit community partners who will receive materials that would otherwise go to waste and which can support their work.
RequirementsPreference given to candidates who have a valid driver's license and who are willing to become University van certified.Physical Demands SummaryMay need to lift and carry up to 40 lbs of donated materials.Wage Rate: $13/hour
