Location: Province of Naples, Italy
Company: Leading manufacturer of electrical components for industrial applications.

Mission: The Manufacturing Manager will oversee all aspects of production planning, production line execution, workshop operations (including CNC, TIG, CAM, and maintenance), and continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing facility.
The goal is to ensure efficient and cost-effective production while maintaining high quality and fostering continuous improvement, mainly using Lean methodologies.

Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and oversee production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.
Ensure optimal utilisation of resources, including labour, equipment, and materials.
Coordinate with other departments (e.g., supply chain, logistics, quality) to ensure timely raw materials, production resources availability and expected quality levels.
Production Line & Workshop Management: Supervise production line activities to ensure efficient execution and adherence to quality standards.
Oversee workshop operations, including CNC machining, TIG welding, CAM programming, and general equipment maintenance.
Identify and prevent bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and maintenance issues that may impact production.
Lead and mentor production and workshop teams, promoting a collaborative, safe, high-performance work environment.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs to enhance the team's skills and productivity.
Implement Lean manufacturing methodologies to optimise processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analysing production metrics and identifying areas for enhancement.
Foster a culture of innovation and ongoing learning within the production team.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and company policies throughout all production activities.
Work closely with the Quality Assurance department to address quality issues and implement corrective measures.
Maintenance Oversight: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for all machinery and equipment.
Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure the reliability of production equipment; manage, minimise downtime and define a list of critical spare parts.
Collaborate with the Product and Sales Departments, starting from the analysis of the customer's request for a quotation, to define the optimal production process in terms of costs (including the needs for tools and machines, the sequence of operations, the demands for staffing, and the time involved) and quality.
Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and other departments to align production plans with material availability and delivery schedules.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding production status, challenges, and key milestones.
Requirements: Must-Haves: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field.
Strong experience in production planning, workshop management, and manufacturing operations, preferably in an industrial environment.
Knowledge of CNC, TIG welding, CAM, and general workshop practices.
Proficient in Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing production teams.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Languages: Fluency in Italian and English (mandatory level B2 or above).
Nice-to-Have: Experience in the electrical components or sensor manufacturing industry.
Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for production planning.
Other Required Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing production challenges.
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Resilience under stress and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Action-oriented, with a strong sense of initiative.
