Join the team and start a better life for yourself.Candidate ProfileWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVEExperience in leading a high-volume catering businessProven experience in coordinating a group of people with ability to change habits and to manage conflictsKnowledge of Food business solutions, compliance standards and Food safety standardsKnowledge of Local food legislationsNational business direction, Consumer and Market research, Food Trends and Customer buying behaviourAnalytical skills and ability to apply strategic thinkingPlanning and organizational skills and ability to identify new business opportunitiesCuriosity and ability to find new ways of workingAbility to build trustful relationshipsAbility to handle multiple topics and changing priorities/deadlinesSelf-reliant and self-motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independentlyAbility to work within a strong framework and to deliver strong business results through peopleProven ability to maintain effective work and leadership behavior in the face of setbacks or pressureCapable of communicating in English and ItalianWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAYContributes to the implementation of global and national compliance standards to secure a safe environment for customers and co-workersEnsure the commercial agenda by securing that retail foundations and sales steering tools, food safety and Swedishness is in placeLead and implement the commercial strategy and commercial calendar and the communication strategyDevelop and improve by seeking and acting upon customer feedbackSecure that excellence in operations and high-quality standards of customer experience and optimised levels of commerciality are achievedEnsures that the team has the correct competence regarding the IKEA Food range and the IKEA services and can share this with customers in a good wayResponsible for the implementation of the global and national people and sustainability strategiesResponsible for quality standards of customer experience in the customer and co-worker restaurant, implementing the global and national compliance standards, managing the food supply chain and range competence in the storeAct as a commercial business partner within the IKEA business in the storeLead and coach the kitchen production team in optimizing and developing the IKEA Retail Food business, considering the IKEA brand position, strategies, legal compliance and people and planet positive in all IKEA touchpoints as well as promoting IKEA as a great place to workEnsures implementation of global and national compliance standards to secure a safe environment for customers and co-workersSecures the appropriate processes and procedures to secure quality of food, food safety, excellence in operations, introduce vitality and to reduce wasteLead and manage the food supply chain for efficient ordering, production and inventory levels to maximize profitabilitySecures that the retail foundations are in place to optimize quality perceptionEnsure that the kitchen is in shape as new, that equipment is maintained and in full working order and high qualityContribute to the creation and implementation of the unit business plan and the IKEA Retail Food business plan and other action plansSecure a lean, diverse and high performing team through building IKEA Food and IKEA competence and leadership and empowering co-workers to act on their own initiativeBe reactive to support the team on the floorWORKING WITH US HAS ITS REWARDSBeing part of the IKEA team has many benefits.
