**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Architect in Mainframe Services and Transformation role is responsible for the architectural design of the Mainframe platform inserted in a Hybrid Cloud context.
- They provide new and complex high-quality offerings to clients in response to varying business needs
- They must be able to work in team in a complex organization
- They have excellent communication skills in order to maintain good relationships with both Local and Global Kyndryl teams.
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Previous professional experience of at least 5 years in the Mainframe area.
- In-depth Technical knowledge of Mainframe infrastructure: major Mainframe Subsystems and how they interact with each other zOS, DB2, CICS, IMS, MQ, RACF, Automation, Scheduling, Storage
- Deep knowledge on new technologies on Mainframe such as ZOWE, Operations Analytics, zOS Container extensions etc.
as well as zVM and zLinux with zVM as Hypervisor
- Knowledge with at least one compute virtualization platform: VMware, vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V or KVM, OpenStack.
- Knowledge of at least one container orchestration platform: Kubernetes, Openshift.
- Deep knowledge on IBM Z Hardware and its life cycle IBM Z15, Z14, Z13
- Networks and system design principles
- IT Service Management concepts and principles
- Public, Private and Hybrid Cloud Architectures
- Architectural Thinking.
Documentation skills.
Knowledgeable in the Solution Design Method
- MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are also required for the development of key deliverables
- Fluent in Italian and English "
