ABOUT THE ROLEYou will be responsible for carrying out and monitoring all accounting and financial operations relating to Data4's business in Italy (3 entities). You will monitor financial flow in order to prepare reports (balance sheet, income statement, tax return, etc.). You will be responsible for reconciling accounts and maintaining the general ledger. You will supervise auxiliary accounting.
RESPONSIBILITIESPerform accounting tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance (incl. booking AR and AP invoice, bank reconciliation, Fixed Assets book and depreciation, payments to suppliers)Manage GL accounting, execute and/or record transactions, including needed documentationSupervise and control the correct entry of supplier invoices and supplier paymentsResponsible for monthly / yearly closingsPrepare quarterly consolidation package (IFRS)Prepare the supporting documentation in line with SOX proceduresKey contact for audit processBe responsible for bank reconciliationPrepare tax filingsPrepare exchange of goods declarations and exchange of services declarationsContribute to the preparation of monthly/quarterly/yearly closingPrepare and control Inter Company transactionsContribute to the preparation of annual financial statement for intern and external auditorsREQUIREMENTSEducation and experienceBachelor's/Master's degree in accounting or finance5 to 7 years of accounting experienceExperience in managing a small teamTechnical skills Advanced knowledge of accounting and tax proceduresGood knowledge of Italian GAAP. IFRS knowledge is considered a plusGood knowledge of Italian Tax legislationKnowledge of legal standards (labour law, tax law, company law) ;Good knowledge and hands-on of Excel, including dashboards and pivot tables;Good knowledge of accounting software (Sage X3 is a plus) ;Fluent in English and ItalianSoft skillsSense of organisation and attention to detailEnjoys solving complex problems;Logic, analytical skillsEnjoys working independentlyDiscretion, organisational skills, ability to manage priorities and deadlines;Team spirit
