Req ID: 457674     At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people.From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry.Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.Trying something new takes courage, but the results can be so rewarding.Explore how we're creating the future of mobility and join our team of passionate professionals as  MATERIAL SCHEDULERPurpose of the job: Define and execute the Services Material scheduling and Inventory strategy according to customer needs and internal constraints and in coordination with Industrialization and Operations departments   Accountabilities Guarantee material availability through appropriate needs scheduling and follow-up Improve Services performance in term of material availability and inventory management Define the order-reorder strategy to optimize the inventory coverage reducing the stock-out occurrences Set parts categories (based on ABC, variability, business type...etc) for defining planning strategy and line replenishment  Provide to sourcing department the forecast of the material needs and the list of priorities in terms of source of supplying to be contractualized  Define and implement action plans and improvements in the planning process Support Planning and Forecasts planning strategy defined by Global Planning Define and set-up MRP parameters to implement material planning strategies and ensure the data accuracy on SAP Improve of the specific tools used for planning, based on the historical data and according to the customer plan Analyze Inventory content for correcting planning strategies.Support finance for inventory depreciation calculation Implement and manage improvement plan in regard of Inventory reduction Measure performance in Supply Chain processes and create reports for analysis   Competencies & Skills    Degree in Economics, Engineering or related field Previuos experience in the same role (1 or 2 years) Good Knowledge Office pack specially Excel Knowledge ERP SAP (MM Material Management) Fluent Italian, good Knowledge English language Flexibility, Teamworking, Result Orientation, Problem Solving and Proactive Approach complete the profile   Location:  Vado Ligure Type of contract : Fixed     You don't need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you'll be proud.If you're up for the challenge, we'd love to hear from youImportant to note As a global business, we're an equal-opportunity employer that celebrates diversity across the 63  countries we operate in.We're committed to creating an inclusive workplace for everyone.
