Packaging Internship: JOB MISSION To guarantee the excellence of products, through the search of innovation and the use of packaging materials that meet the requirements of functionality, cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and quality in line with company standards and its sustainable values.

DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Search for innovative materials and packaging solutions.Evaluate technical feasibility of innovative packaging solutions.Manage innovative materials testing to explore feasibility of future packaging solutions.Run packaging scouting for new marketing projects.Innovation projects: development of new pack designs with design agency and internal design team; simulation, prototyping and co-development with converters.Validation of packaging materials produced using new moulds (technologies involved ISBM, EBM, IBM).Renovation/Sustainability projects: working on projects aiming to improve the sustainability of already existing pack mixes (better recyclability; rHDPE/rPET/rPP inclusion; plastic reduction; concentration; plastic replacement).Proactively support and contribute to manage the process of packaging development; from pre-briefing to start-up of finished products first production.Accurately prepare samples for testing by developing a detailed testing plan respecting timeline, scheduling & testing protocols, supporting purchasing of packaging components, coordinating the production and storage of packaging samples, submitting packaging samples for analytical or sensory product testing.Ensure support to other departments to manage projects related to the packaging development and its production.Create and follow the protocols in the R&D Packaging department; define better new processes, update and implement existing ones.Document and update packaging specification (data management).Ensure that packaging components and packaging systems meet quality requirements and specifications according to Quality Department guidelines. COMPETENCIES & TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUESTED Basic knowledge of material specification & material transformation technology.Knowledge and ability to use the correct equipment to validate packaging specification.Basic Knowledge of European Packaging Policies.Basic Knowledge of sustainability issues.Basic Knowledge of Quality Control field related to Packaging Items and systems. SOFT SKILLS Ability to perform and achieve own objectives autonomously.Curiosity / learning agility / Ability to evaluate and select the most interesting opportunities.Team work and agility to be flexible to manage business priority.Fluency in English.Good communication interpersonal skills.Ability to translate external requests and deliver precise output.Ability to evaluate risks and anticipate actions.High level of problem solving.
