Electrical Designer / CAD Designer (Trasaghis)OPPORTUNITY:
For our Trasaghis (Udine) branch ATS Mechatronics, we are looking for a bright and talented resource to join our project team to fill the role of Electrical Designer/CAD Designer.
The person in this position is responsible for the design for the implementation of industrial automation projects in steel plants. The resource will be placed in a collaborative and very challenging environment where continuous growth is the core element of our Team. You will be supported and involved in international projects with the aim of acquiring a mix of skills to complete your professional profile and face complex challenges in the world of Industry 4.0.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Electrical design: Create detailed drawings and wiring diagrams for power switchboards, automation systems, and industrial PLCs in the steel industry.Specification Definition: Work with the technical team to define technical specifications for switchboards and systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.Layout development: Design optimal layouts and arrangements for switchboards and electrical components, taking into account space requirements and ergonomic considerations.Component selection: Identify and select electrical components, automation devices, and PLCs best suited to project needs, considering performance, reliability, and compatibility.PLC Integration: Work with the automation team to integrate industrial PLCs into switchboards and systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.Testing and Verification: Participate in testing and verification of switchboards and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including installation manuals, wiring diagrams, material lists, and test reports.Technical Support: Provide technical support to the production team during the construction and installation phase of switchboards and systems.REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in electrical engineering, automation or related field.Previous work experience in the steel industry or related industry.Thorough knowledge of electrical principles, automation systems and industrial PLCs.Proficiency in the use of CAD software and electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.Detail orientation and problem solving skills.Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.Flexibility and ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing work environment.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
