Data Governance Country Lead Italy, Officer
**Who we are looking for**
Data Governance Lead will be responsible for ensuring execution on Data Governance Activities for Italy.
He/she will work closely with both local Business Units representatives as well as Enterprise Data Governance referents at GmbH, EMEA and Global level.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

**What you will be responsible for**
As Data Governance Country Lead Italy you will
- Oversee Day-to-Day Data Governance Operations
- Ensure Italy data stewards are engaged and are executing data governance activities
- Drive enterprise data-decision making processes and facilitate discussion to address conflicting viewpoints
- Guide the Business Unit stewardship needs for information sourcing, provisioning, consumption,
standardization and reporting & analytics
- Drive the resolution of data, information and processing challenges that are having an adverse impact on the operational environment and/or business performance
- Identify opportunities for improvement and incorporate it in the data strategy
- Conduct as-needed alignment meetings on strategic data-driven initiatives
- Partner with IT and Data Steward, e.g.
insuring Lineage is accurate, participating in data impacting projects to ensure appropriate data is used, quality is defined, and data is cataloged
- Assist Business Owner and Data Steward in ensuring operational controls are in place to meet control requirements.

**Education & Preferred Qualifications**
- Degree in Business/Finance preferably
- 5-10 year experience in the Financial Industry
- Very good knowledge of English language, written and spoken
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
