Key job responsibilities:- Understanding how all elements of the Voice Experience ecosystem work together and developing QA approaches that fit the overall strategy.
- Develop and execute manual & automated tests and test plans.
- Efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of our products.
- Finding, isolating, documenting, regressing, and tracking bugs through resolution.
- Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process.
- Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented.
- Ensure the highest quality product delivery, working with a team of quality engineering professionals.
- Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess product quality.
You will be part of an agile team, passionate about innovating for customers, and demonstrate a track record of success in delivering new features and products. A commitment to teamwork and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) are essential. You will pay close attention to details and deliver solutions that delight customers.
About the team:As the QAE on the Amazon Music Voice Internationalization QA Team, you will be supporting the effort to invent and improve the ways that customers can ask for what they want to hear in Amazon Music Unlimited, Prime Music or Ad-supported Free Tier in international markets. You will support the efforts to ensure that the Quality of the Amazon Music Voice Experience is the best.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in quality assurance engineering.
- Experience in automation testing.
- Experience in manual testing.
- Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI).
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficient in both spoken and written Italian (Common European Framework of Reference C1).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in API & Mobile testing.
- Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control.
- Experience working with one or more of the following technologies: PHP, CSS, HTML, Java, JavaScript, Python, PERL.
- Experience creating status reports based on automation results.
- Experience working with Voice Assistants.
- Experience working with teams in multiple time zones.
- Driven to provide the best customer experience via technology.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Experience working with scalable distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
