We want to offer the best People Flow experience to those using our equipment in residential and office buildings, hotels, public transportation sites, hospitals, shopping malls, and many other special buildings.KONE Procurement is a global organization of purchasing and supplier management experts responsible for direct and indirect material and service sourcing for KONE.We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic Projects and Modernization Procurement team in the KONE Europe Supply Line Direct Material Procurement organization.As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will focus on direct materials procurement initiatives for Modernization as well as the Control Systems and Networks Solutions Devices categories.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to succeed in this position.This position is based in Cadrezzate con Osmate (VA), Italy.Key Responsibilities:Manage all procurement activities including supplier contracts, price negotiations, and RFQ management for your own area of responsibility.Act as the contract owner for direct material suppliers and support the implementation of global/area category plans.Identify and drive new cost savings initiatives to support profitability.Manage supplier quality and on-time delivery in collaboration with the stakeholders.Report monthly key performance indicators and manage budgets, forecasts, and savings for own area of responsibility.Qualifications:B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, supply chain management, or business).3 or more years' work experience in procurement.Experience in leading supplier negotiations and managing supplier relationships with local, regional, and global suppliers.Knowledge of electrification and/or electronics supply markets and technology is an asset.Ability to work independently and effectively in a multinational environment.Fluent English and Italian; other languages are an asset.Willingness to travel.Why Join Us: This position offers a unique opportunity to learn and improve your skills within the area of procurement and support your professional growth.
