Description
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Product Compliance Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Tito Scalo (PZ).
Accountabilities
We are looking for a Product Compliance Specialist who will:
- Prepare the dossiers related to SCIP notification on ECHA database;
- Be in charge of the Compliance Analysis in accordance with the regulations that control hazardous substances in electrical/electronic equipment and lifecycle assessment;
- Develop innovative methodologies to be applied as standards in the design process of products and solutions;
Required Skills/Knowledge
- Good knowledge about:
- directive 2011/65/EU as amended;
- regulation 1906/2006/EU as amended;
- regulation 2008/98/EU as amended;
- Good Knowledge about chemical identification number (CAS or EINECS);
- Basic knowledge with management and understanding of info related to electrical/electronic/mechanical components;
- Able to work autonomously and be proactive in the management of the tasks;
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
- Willing to work in an international team and environment;
- Excellent communication skills;
Education
- University Degree in Industrial Engineering (preferable), Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent technical/scientific background;
Languages
Fluent knowledge Written/Spoken of English.
