- A Cost Controller opportunity with the global leader in the creation of Taste & Wellbeing and Fragrance & Beauty, and an essential member of our Taste & Wellbeing Regional Controlling team for Natural Ingredients, while being based in our Operations site offices in Caronno (Italy) or Avignon (France) - **Your future position?**
- Are you an experienced cost controller professional with more than 5 years of relevant experience who would like to join the regional controlling team of a global and leading organisation? Then this might be the perfect opportunity for you- Our controlling team ensures that Givaudan can continue to offer our niche solutions and ingredients to customers at the appropriate value and price point to promote sustainable growth. They are also responsible for all business controlling matters, from monthly reporting to business case modelling and contract work.- We are looking to strengthen our Taste & Wellbeing Operations Regional Controlling team for Natural Ingredients and hiring a **‘Cost Controller’**. The role is an individual contributor role and is open to be based in either our Taste & Wellbeing manufacturing site offices in Caronno (Italy) or Avignon (France) and report to the Taste & Wellbeing Regional Controller for Natural Ingredients Operations (South Europe cluster).- As an important member of the Givaudan Finance team in the region, you will take the reins of cost control, ensuring adherence to established policies and contributing to informed decision-making at the highest levels. Business support:
- Standardise and improve: Implement and maintain the best cost control methodologies, ensuring uniform data quality and transparency for enhanced performance analysis.
- Enhance Visibility: Translate complex financial data into relevant insights through impactful monthly reports for top Management, driving strategic cost management.
- Lead cost reduction: Collaborate with the regional coordination and site teams to identify cost-saving programs, delivering tangible financial benefits through dedicated projects.
- Support commercial organisations in clearly understanding cost drivers within product costs to lead to cost efficiencies.
- Work with pricing teams to establish competitive and profitable product pricing strategies.
- Costing and inventory valuation:
- Masterful costing: Use your expertise in our dedicated ERP system to manage costing activities, analyse COGS, and improve regional resource allocation. Dive deep into the numbers, identify cost variances vs STD and analyse the factors contributing to fluctuations that align with Procurement and Site Controllers.
- Ensure policy adherence: Align the costing system with Givaudan's SAP costing policy, maintaining compliance and bridging operational gaps.
- Deliver costing clarity: Provide in-depth product costing analyses, empowering price assessments and informed management decisions based on accurate data.
- Quality control champion: Implement procedures for quality control of local inventory
