The focus of the Procurement Specialist role is to negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies. Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.

**Partner with the best**

As Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for:

- Partnering and point of reference for Procurement ITO for product strategy of the team commodities.
- Reference point for program managers to follow specific initiatives (e.g. standardization, supplier document management, etc.).
- Developing Procurement initiatives for cost out program, deflation, cycle reduction, BCC and cash flow improvement (e.g. rebate, payment terms, etc.).
- Execute short and long term strategies for team commodities, ensuring best performance for NPD, ITO and OTR procurement.
- Integrating commodity strategies into product leadership, engineering and manufacturing objectives.
- Execute commodity strategy to support main service drivers as on time delivery, convertibility and productivity.
- Managing LRP/S&OP data to match and optimize supplier capacity with business goals
- Negotiating and issue purchase orders with suppliers achieving lowest possible cost for material, balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

- Have a Bachelor’s/Master degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or Economic with experience in procurement or commodity management
- English fluent, both in writing and speaking
- Excellent all-round communication and influencing skills
- Analytical mindset with a proven ability to resolve problems and identify solutions
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Positive attitude to embrace change and see challenge as opportunity
