For the Milan headquarters, Webuild is looking for a recent graduate in electrical engineering to be employed as a trainee **MEP Engineer**.
**Main responsibilities**
- Verifying and directing the design of MEP components within the scope of major works projects both in the civil/tertiary sphere (business centres, hospitals, data centres, retail) and, above all, in the infrastructure sphere (roads, motorways, railway lines, metro lines).
- Manage and coordinate external specialist design companies for the implementation and development of MEP plant components;
- Ensure the design integration between the MEP components and the civil and structural works of the project;
- Analysing and developing, both at the tender stage and once the work is complete, the project requirements such as technical specifications, drawings, schedules and providing support in defining construction procedures and methods;
- Identifying and developing value engineering solutions for MEP components;
- Evaluate and technically align bids;
- Provide specialised technical assistance to orders, analysing problems and developing proposals and technical improvement solutions;
- Communicate and cooperate effectively with the internal team - designers, consultants, client and other members - on MEP issues;
- Provide support and technical clarifications in periodic meetings, during tendering or contract development, to colleagues from other Webuild departments, members, clients and third parties regarding MEP issues;
- Interfacing with site operations to identify and propose solutions to specific operational issues.
**Requirements**:
- Master's degree in electrical engineering;
- Interest in designing and assisting in the supervision of MEP works, in the infrastructural field (roads, motorways, railway lines, metro lines) and in the civil field (business centres, offices, data centres, retail, hospitals);
- Proficiency in Italian. Good knowledge of written and spoken English;
- Knowledge of the most widely used software;
- Availability for national and international travel (30%).
