Buyer Trainee

Our R&D, Quality and Purchasing Area is looking for an intern what will help the procurement team to provide of suitable direct materials (raw materials, packaging, finished products) on the basis of the Company demand, in compliance with the quality standards set by the Company, within the requested delivery-times, at the best possible conditions of supply, ensuring the respect of the category budget, and being in charge of the whole procurement process.

**Responsibilities and Tasks**
- Supporting for the scouting, research, and selection of the most suitable suppliers, with the involvement of the other related internal departments (i.e. Quality Assurance, R&D, Operations, etc)
- Supporting in the negotiation of prices, quantities and all the related commercial terms (in accordance with the Company policy)
- Collaborate with all the related Company departments (i.e. R&D, QA, Mktg, Trade-Mktg, Demand Planning, IT, Financial Controlling, etc.) on product-innovation and internal-improvement projects
- Monitor the markets (from associations, suppliers, magazines) of the assigned product-categories
- Manage the material non-conformances with suppliers along with the internal Quality Assurance

**Requirements**:

- Master degree or student in Management Engineering or Economics
- Excellent interpersonal skills: with both internal function and external suppliers
- Open mindedness: be open on different commodity categories and different methods of sourcing
- Dynamicity and Flexibility
- Problem solving ability
- Fluent in English (B2)
