**Job overview**

You’ll be delivering core aspects of the Science curriculum, using assessments and feedback to sustain and raise achievement.

**Job requirements**
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
- Relevant specialist qualifications and experience (e.g BSc in a Science-related degree)
- Ability to deliver high-quality Science lessons covering a range of modules and concepts, both theoretical and practical
- Understanding of curriculum and assessment requirements for Science
- Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning in preparation for examinations
- Nice to have: Specialism in Biology or related material. Teaching experience in an international school.

**Personal competences**:

- Strong English Language communication skills (C2 minimum)
- Strong IT skills, ability to use multiple platforms and engage students in 21st century learning using relevant tech.
- Collaboration skills, ability to work as part of a holisitc team to support student development.
- Strong time management skills including the ability to meet strict deadlines.

The Canadian School of Florence is a co-educational private international school for children aged 3 to 18 years. The school opened its first campus in Florence in 2017 with the Senior School, followed in 2021 by the Preschool and Elementary School, and lastly followed by the Middle School in 2022.

The school experiential learning program is taught in English, based on the Canada (Ontario) curriculum with preparation, in Italian, for the Italian national exams as a “paritaria” school.

The Canadian School of Florence is a co-educational private international school for children aged 3 to 18 years.
