In our Process Automation Area, in Measurement & Analytics division located in Ossuccio, Como - Italy, we are looking for a Planning & Purchasing Manager, who will lead Planning and Fulfillment, Source Management for our factory. To drive planning initiatives to improve customer on time delivery, and Lead-Time, to be accountable for inventory and supply plan adherence.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Runs a short-term planning process or S&OE process, Supports the profitable execution of customer orders.
- Owns the site supply planning process and provides visibility of supply capacity and local supply objectives into S&OP process.
- Is accountable for inventory within the site and driving inventory optimization projects within the site. Ensures the right inventory level is maintained, optimizing it according to the company’s target while guaranteeing customer service level.
- Runs a short-term planning process or S&OE process, connecting planning with execution.
- Supports the profitable execution of customer orders, in coordination with business functions and supply units (feeder factories).
- Leads/contributes to cross-functional initiatives for optimizing customer on-time delivery, lead-time, inventory, resource utilization, and forecast accuracy.
- Uses lean six sigma tools whenever applicable and collaborates with other units in the end-to-end supply chain. Provides local leadership for the development of best practices in planning systems and integrated ERPs.
- Leads local planning function and ensures (with HR Manager support) that local planning teams are properly organized, staffed, and skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, for the benefit of both ABB and the employee.

**Your background**:

- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
- At least 5 years working experience in Planning in Fulfillment and/or Procurement & Logistics.
- Proven track record of improving Planning & Fulfillment metrics via optimization initiatives and lean methodologies based on expertise in the domains of Disposition, Planning, Logistics and Inventory Management.
- Advanced and senior knowledge in SAP (Modules PP, MM, WM) is a plus.
- Ability and strengths to lead and represent the team in the organization.
- Strong communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Italian.
